UC Berkeley is roughly equidistant from the San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports. We suggest comparing fares to all two airports, as there can be significant differences, even for the same airline.
To go from the airport to the dorms, you can choose a taxi, airport shuttle, Uber, or the Caltrain.
With the Caltrain, a one-way trip from San Francisco takes approximately one hour and costs about $10.30. With the BART a one-way trip from Oakland takes approximately 40 minutes and costs about $8.95.
