Voted like the most competitive city in Europe and known as the city of opportunities, London is a worldwide entrepreneurial point. Qualified as the fifth tech capital for startups, London has a competitive ecosystem and one of the biggest business angel communities in the world.

It has some institutions focused on the investigation and development of renewable energies, like the Centre for CleanTech Innovation, leading the use of that kind of alternatives.

Founded in 1907, Imperial is organized into faculties of science, engineering, medicine, and business. “ Recognized for discovering the Penicillin, Imperial is one of the 10 most influential universities in the world and one of the top 3 in the UK.”
Participants will be able to take a walk on Albertópolis, an area with a lot of cultural and academic institutions.

If you’re traveling by plane, you can choose between 4 different airports:
London City Airport
Take the DLR to Canning Town, then change to the London Underground. Take the Jubilee line to Green Park and the Piccadilly line to South Kensington
Heathrow Express, 15 mins to Paddington mainline station, then take the London Underground Circle line to South Kensington. Or take the London Underground directly from Heathrow to South Kensington station on the Piccadilly Line.
Gatwick Express, 30 mins to Victoria mainline station, then take the London Underground District or Circle line to South Kensington. Alternatively, take a national rail train to Victoria station and then continue by London Underground.
Stansted Express, 50 mins to Liverpool Street main line station, and then take the London Underground Circle line to South Kensington. Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports are some distance away from London and a taxi is not recommended for the whole journey.
